There was one casualty and many sustained injuries when Hard Rock hotel in New Orleans collapsed on Saturday.

The New Orleans Fire Department was alerted at around 9:00 AM local time, one person died in the incident according to the Fire Chief Timothy McConnell who confirmed that the building is now structurally unstable. He added that another collapse may be imminent.
Emergency Medical Services director Emily Nichols said that first responders evaluated 19 people at the scene, 18 of whom were transported to hospitals and are in stable condition.
At least three people are still missing while one of the injured refused to be transported to the hospital. No injuries were confirmed to passers-by.
The whole area is currently being cleared and people have been warned not to try to get footages of the collapse with drones neither should they go anywhere near the unstable structure.
