Governorship candidate of the Peoples Democratic Party in the Ondo state governorship election, Eyitayo Jegede (SAN), has expressed confidence that he will have victory against all odds.
Speaking shortly after he casted his vote at ward 2 unit 9 in Akure, the PDP candidate urged his supporters not to leave thier polling units after casting thier votes in order to protect thier votes.
Quite a number of his supporters were disappointed after he refused to give out money despite thier hailings and pleas.
Addressing journalists, Jegede said:
“I give glory to God for being able to contest this election. The agenda of disenfranchising indigenes at the Ondo Central Senatorial District or some areas where we (PDP) have strength will not stand.
“We called for the postponement of the election, they said no. We have moved on. I struggled and overcame all the travails. By the grace of God, I will be victorious.”
