Onaioye Kiipoye, a Port-Harcourt-based lady, has been sentenced to ten years imprisonment for dealing in the sales of petroleum products without a license.
Justice Agomoh of Federal High Court convicted her after she was first arraigned on 10th February, 2011, on a two-count amended charge.
The Port-Harcourt-based lady had pleaded not guilty to the charge, but was sentenced to 5 years imprisonment on each of the 2 counts without an option of fine.
Onaioye had used a Man Diesel Caravan truck for her business which was siezed by the government after her arrest.
She was arrested on 15th of April, 2008, by the Joint Task Force Operations, with a truck that contained about 64 drums of petroleum products, and was handed over to the EFCC.
