Former Special Assistant to President Jonathan on New Media, Reno Omokri has warned residents of Plateau, Benue and Taraba states against voting President Muhammadu Buhari in 2019.
Omokri, a vocal critic of the ruling All Progressives Congress (APC), made this known in reaction to weekend attacks in Plateau State that led to death of 86 persons.
The US-based pastor said supporting the president was tantamount to endorsing the killings.
He said, “Anyone in Plateau, Benue or Taraba who votes for President Buhari in 2019 should not cry crocodile tears when herdsmen continue to steal, kill and destroy the lives of Nigerians in those states. By your vote, you are saying you endorse the killings of your brothers and sisters.”

But condemned the killings on Sunday, describing it as “painful and regrettable”.
“The grievous loss of lives and property arising from the killing in Plateau today is painful and regrettable.
“My deepest condolences to the affected communities. We will not rest until all murderers and criminal elements and their sponsors are incapacitated and brought to justice,” the president said.
