The Nigerian duo of Omah Lay and Tems has landed in Nigeria after their arrest, detention, and subsequent release in Uganda.
The musicians landed at the Muritala Muhammed International Airport (MMIA), Lagos at 12:34 pm Nigerian Time.
The Chairman, Nigerians in Diaspora Commission (NIDCOM), Abike Dabiri-Erewa, disclosed this in a tweet on Thursday.
She said that their manager, Muyiwa Awoniyi, who suffered a similar ordeal, was aboard the same plane.

Dabiri-Erewa added, “We are glad they are finally home. All is well that ends well.

Omah Lay, Tems and Awoniyi were arrested for violating Uganda’s COVID-19 restrictions.
The two musicians had performed before a packed crowd at The Big Brunch, which held at Speke Resort, Wavamunno Rd, Kampala, Uganda.
