After the emergence of Rotimi Akeredolu as the flag bearer of All Progressive Congress (APC) in the forthcoming Ondo state gubernatorial election, one of the contestants during the APC primaries, Olusola Oke has decamped from the Party.
Mr. Olusola Oke who protested the outcome of the election dumped APC for Alliance for Democracy (AD) in Ondo on Saturday.
Oke and other two aspirants had shown that their discontent with the outcome of the party primaries which produce a former President of the Nigeria Bar Association, Rotimi Akeredolu.
According to Oke, he left APC because his supporters wanted him to pursue his governorship ambition on another platform.
“Having giving me the support to go ahead in this new journey, I hereby declared officially that I have joined the gubernatorial race in pursuant of my ambition to be the governor in the forthcoming governorship election of our dear Ondo stat,” Oke said during a meeting at his residence.
