Ayuba Balogun and Evans have been remanded in a correctional facility by the Lagos Magistrate Court sitting in Igbosere, over the alleged murder of Olayinka Mamora and possession of firearms.
Olayinka Mamora who was an aide to the state chairman of the NURTW, Musiliu Akinsanya, aka MC Oluomo, and a member of the National Union of Road Transport Workers, was murdered on September 30, 2015, at about 7:30pm in Oshodi Lagos.
He was shot at a barbershop by hoodlums, when he went to Mosaku Street Oshodi, to visit his father. He decided to also barb his hair when the murder took place.

The Guardian gathered that the prosecutor, Morufu Animashaun, disclosed to the court that the defendants were brought on a remand warrant application dated October 28, 2019.
According to Animashaun, three pump action guns and 10 live cartridges were recovered from the defendants’ hideout in Oshodi and Mowe, Ogun State.
