Pop star Olivia Rodrigo has become the latest celebrity to endorse US Vice President Kamala Harris for president. Rodrigo shared a video of Harris promising to restore reproductive rights on her Instagram account, showing her support for the Democratic candidate.
Rodrigo joins other prominent celebrities like Katy Perry and Beyoncé’s mother, Tina Knowles, in endorsing Harris. Perry shared an edited video of Harris set to her song “Woman’s World”, while Beyoncé has granted Harris permission to use her song “Freedom” for her presidential campaign.
Harris has gained significant support from celebrities and politicians since President Joe Biden stepped down as the Democratic Party candidate. She has promised to restore reproductive rights and has walked out to Beyoncé’s “Freedom” during her first official visit to her campaign headquarters.
The US presidential election is heating up, with Harris leading Trump in a recent poll. Other celebrities like Charly Boy have also shown their support for Harris, with some even promising to take drastic measures if she doesn’t win.
