Following the current indefinite strike imposed on the students of the university of Ibadan, the students have resorted to social media in a bid to oust the university’s vice chancellor.
This is also coming as a result of the arrest of a former student union leader of the university known as T-Cool.
The indefinite strike in the university was issued after students protested the rustication of a student, Tunji-Ekpeti Mote.
Professor Abel Idowu Olayinka was appointed as the 12th substantive Vice Chancellor of the University of Ibadan in September 2015.
Professor Olayinka was elected to replace the current minister of health, Professor Isaac Adewole.
The student are alleging tyranny, poor facilities, as well as other issues as the reason for their decision to call for the ousting of the VC.
