Popular Nigerian hip hop/rap artiste, Olamide, has on Thursday announced the loss of his dad.
The YBNL boss, who took to his Instagram page to announce the shocking news, wrote: “O God, who hast commanded us to honor our father and our mother; in Thy mercy have pity on the soul of my father, and forgive his trespasses; and make me to see him again in the joy of everlasting brightness. Through Christ our Lord. Amen. Rest well Dad.. Forever in my heart.”
Olamide, who already has five studio albums to his name, has sung about his father in some of his songs, the most notable being “1999” and “Anifowoshe”.
