Nigerian rapper Oladips has publicly accused Grammy-winning artist Wizkid of stealing his lyrics. The rapper claims that Wizkid sampled parts of his song “Ajala Travel remix” in his recent collaboration with Asake, titled “MMS.”
Oladips took to Instagram to share screenshots comparing the lyrics of both songs. While a fan suggested that sampling is a common practice, Oladips insisted that it should only be done with proper authorization. He expressed his frustration, stating, “It’s normal if you acknowledge the source! No be say dem go dey pretend like say dem no know you but come dey bite your lyrics for corner.”
As of now, Wizkid has not responded to the allegations.
