Months after the incident that sparked reactions online, Nigerian music video director ThankGod Omori Jesam, popularly known as TG Omori, and the fan who rejected his cash handout, identified as @Billar_ray or 1k Omori, have finally addressed their issue on social media.
The incident, which went viral some time ago, showed TG Omori offering a group of boys N1,000, which they refused to accept. In response to the video, 1k Omori mocked the videographer on Twitter, claiming that the sum offered was meager considering the millions TG Omori charges for his video shoots. The fan expressed his dissatisfaction, insisting that the money was insufficient even to buy the cannabis strain known as Loud.

The tweet read:
“TG Omori dey drop money wey no fit buy me loud. The matter still dey vex me 😤 TG Omori go dey brag say he dey charge artiste 50 million for music video. But e reach to drop money, e comot 1k for 3 boys to share. If na 3 girls hail am, he for drop 1k ?? All of una wey dey support am dey craze. 1 dollar and 2 cents, for 3 men to share. Ogun go kill all of una.”
TG Omori, clearly not pleased with the fan’s entitlement and criticism, hit back at him, questioning whether the fan ever kept money with him. He responded with a fiery retort:
“Ogun go kill your papa! You give me money hold for you.”
