Super Eagles striker, Odion Ighalo has signed a new five-year contract with English Premier League side, Watford.
The 26-year-old Ighalo joined Watford on loan from Italian side, Udinese before making the deal permanent in October 2014.
In his first season at the club, he scored 20 goals in 35 championship appearances, goals which helped the Hornet’s Premier League promotion possible.
He was also on target for his league debut, a game with Everton which ended 2-2 at the end of proceedings.
Reacting to the contract extension, many excited Watford fans described it as “top stuff”, “top class”, among other superlative adjectives.
Ighalo has been capped three times by Nigeria.
