The APC governorship candidate, Mr Godwin Obaseki, has promised to change the College of Education, Igueben to a technical college, if elected on Sept. 10 governorship election in Edo.
Obaseki made the promise in Igueben on Friday when he and his campaign team visited the Onogie of Igueben Ehizogie Eluojiorior 1.
The candidate said that he planned to introduce technical studies into the curriculum of secondary schools in the state.
Obaseki said he had observed that the major challenge in the area was unemployment, adding that his administration would prioritise job creation in the locality.
He gave the assurance that he and his running mate, Mr Philip Shaibu, would sustain the good dvelopmental policy of Gov. Adams Oshiomhole.
He said governance was a continuum and that his administration would construct more roads and build infrastructure across the locality.
