Former President, Chief Olusegun Obasanjo, has urged Nigerians to vote en-masse in Saturday’s polls just like they did during the Presidential elections.
Obasanjo said this on Saturday during a surprise visit to Itoku Market in Abeokuta South Local Government Area of Ogun State.
When journalists asked him to advise the traders ahead of Saturday’s elections, he said “They should do exactly what they did last Saturday.”
He also added that he came to celebrate the traders ahead of Saturday’s polls.
He said “Since I came back from Abuja, I have not come here to say hello to you. This is my community. As a member of the community, I want to know what’s going on and what’s happening in the community.”
