A former Minister of Aviation, Chief Femi Fani-Kayode, has described former President Olusegun Obasanjo as a father of the nation.
Fani-Kayode, who was appointed Aviation Minister by the ex-leader, made this known via his verified Twitter handle on Thursday evening.
He said this while reminiscing over a visit to the home of Abeokuta, Ogun State-based Obasanjo earlier in the day.
Recall that Obasanjo also made Fani-Kayode a Minister of Culture.

But Fani-Kayode tweeted after the visit, “Precious and I had a wonderful afternoon with the father of the nation, President Olusegun Obasanjo, today. I thank God for his life and for his remarkable wisdom, strength, knowledge and foresight. May God continue to be with him and bless him.”
