The Director General of the National Youth Service Corps, NYSC, Brigadier General Suleiman Kazaure has challenged youth corps members from different tribes to marry one another.
The NYSC DG during his visit to the 2016 Batch A (Stream II) corps members currently on orientation programme organised by the commission said the practice will boost and foster national integration.
He also noted that one of the essence of the programme has been to continuously enhance inter-tribe relationship and boost peace in the nation through such relationships.
He said: “I wish to see you intermarry within the orientation period to enhance national integration, as this would be achieved through adequate bonding in the camp.
“The Ramadan did not stop us from coming to the camp as I received lots of text messages inquiring about the possibility of organizing the camp within the period.”
