The national youth council of Nigeria (NYCN) has stepped out to make a public complaint against Ogunleye Idris Olarenwaju, popularly known as Bobrisky, and other people who engage in lesbian, gay, bisexual and transgender acts.
The NYCN vice president North Central, Comrade Akoshile Mukhtar, addressing a world press conference, on Wednesday 18th of September at the Youth House Abuja, described the LGBT act as being unruly, unhealthy and disgusting. He stated that they view every action being taken by Bobrisky and people like him as not in compliance with “our morals, culture, spiritual values and Nigerian laws.”
The Nigerian youths gathered in their hundreds, holding written signs all expressing how they feel about the LGBT act portrayed by Bobrisky. They had also protested to the National Assembly, DSS and Police headquarters.

Mukthar said the group had also protested to the National Assembly, DSS and Police headquarters.
“We will not rest until Bobrisky is arrested and made to face the full wrath of the law,” he said.
According to Mukthar “it is a well-known fact that Bobrisky and some have for a while now being promoting this despicable act in Nigeria via social media platforms like Facebook, Twitter, and Instagram among others. The implication is that if this is left, unchecked many of our youths can unknowingly get to be part of this ugly situation. While we urge parents to continue to monitor and guide their wards, they should inculcate in them the good morals and values of Nigeria’s culture and religion. They should also be mindful of the friends their children keep, both online and offline”.
The vice president also stated
“Consequently, NYCN today, 18th September 2019 declare Bobrisky as persona non grata, as he is a man (not a woman). For national interest, we call on the ever-conscious, ever ready, combatant Nigeria youths and comrades of like minds to without fear or favour kick out Bobrisky and his likes wherever they come across them. Nigeria is not a place for LGBT and we shall fight this to the end.”
Otunba Segun Runsewe, Director-General of NCAC, who received the youths, commended them for taking the bold step against the Bobrisky-led LGBT group.
He noted that the council under his watch was already fighting against Bobrisky and his transgender antics, describing him as ‘bad influence and harmful to Nigeria’s culture and morals.’
He persuaded the youths not to engage in LGBT acts, emphasizing on how we must protect our cultural values at all costs.
