Actress Sharon Ooja Egwurube has found her happily ever after with Ugo Nwoke, following what she describes as her “worst heartbreak.” The couple celebrated their union with a traditional wedding in Abuja, marking a new chapter in their lives.
The Daily Post Nigeria reports that the star of the silver screen opened up about her journey to love in an exclusive interview with BellaNaija. Ooja recounted how a chance introduction by her sister led to a persistent courtship by Mr. Nwoke, which she initially resisted. However, his unwavering interest and their deep conversations eventually won her over.
“My love story is one that I would say is sort of a miracle,” Ooja shared. “After the heartbreak, I was filming and not in the mood for romance. But my sister gave him my number, and he reached out. He was persistent, and we had this one conversation that lasted three hours. That’s when I realized I liked him.”
Their whirlwind romance saw them engaged within three months of dating, and married two months later.
