Osun State Governor, Sen Ademola Adeleke, has appointed renowned Nollywood actress Laide Bakare as his Senior Special Assistant on entertainment, art, culture, and tourism. The announcement was made by Bakare herself through her Instagram account on Friday, where she expressed gratitude for the opportunity and pledged to deliver her best in her new role.
The actress shared pictures alongside Governor Adeleke, conveying her appreciation for the trust placed in her to serve the state. In her Instagram post, Bakare wrote, “Now an Honourable. Ya Allah, I am grateful to my new boss, Governor Ademola Jackson Adeleke, Imole Osun. Thank you so much for the trust and opportunity to serve. I promise to deliver my best. So help me God.”
She officially assumed the position as the Senior Special Assistant to the Governor of Osun State on entertainment, art, culture, and tourism. Bakare acknowledged the responsibilities that come with her new role and expressed her determination to contribute meaningfully.
The actress recognized the commencement of her political career with this appointment, emphasizing the significant work ahead. She stated, “Lot of work to be done. Shall we?
