Veteran Nollywood actor, Zulu Adigwe, has passed away, according to a social media announcement by movie producer Stanley Nwoko. The cause of death has not yet been disclosed.
“I regret to announce the passing of a veteran actor, late Mr Zulu Adigwe,” Nwoko wrote on Instagram. “Rest in peace good actor.“
Adigwe was known for his roles in popular films like “Living in Bondage” and “Breaking Free.” His passing marks another loss for Nollywood, which has seen the passing of seven actors in 2024 alone. These include Sisi Quadri, Mr. Ibu, Amaechi Muonagor, Andy Best, Jumoke Aderounmu, and Junior Pope.
Tributes are pouring in for Adigwe, with many colleagues and fans remembering his contributions to the Nigerian film industry.
