Veteran Nollywood actress Kate Henshaw announced the passing of her mother on Monday, March 4th, 2024, through a post on her X account.
Henshaw, 52, shared the heartbreaking news with her fans and followers, stating, “Dear friends and fans, it is with a heavy heart that I announce the passing of my dear mother on March 1st, 2024.“
She expressed her deep grief and requested the support of her fans during this difficult time, saying, “Your prayers mean the world to me during this difficult time. Please keep my family in your thoughts.“
Henshaw concluded the post with a loving message to her mother, writing, “Rest in peace mummy. Love, Kate Henshaw.“
This news comes amidst a period of mourning for the Nollywood industry, following the recent passing of two beloved comic actors: Tolani Oyebamiji Quadri, popularly known as Sisi Quadri, and John Okafor, also known as Mr Ibu, who passed away over the weekend.
