Renowned Nollywood actor and comedian, Williams Uchemba, has offered a piece of advice to single women, cautioning them against dating jobless men. In a video posted on his Instagram page, Uchemba expressed his perspective on the importance of a man’s role as a provider and protector within a relationship.
Uchemba’s video message serves as a stern warning against entering into relationships with men who are content with being unemployed and reliant on their partners for financial support. He emphasized that this behavior should raise a red flag in a potential relationship.
The comedian and actor believes that there is a divine element in men, a natural instinct, that compels them to provide for and protect their families. This innate sense of responsibility, he argued, should not be disregarded, as it plays a fundamental role in a man’s life.
Williams Uchemba emphasized the significance of a man’s primary role as a provider. He firmly asserted that women should be wary of men who show comfort with unemployment and dependency on their partners for financial sustenance. He stressed that such a scenario contradicts the core purpose of men as providers and protectors in relationships.
“A man is built to not just provide but also to protect. If you are dating someone who is comfortable with being jobless because you have a good job, run. It is a red flag,” Uchemba stated.
Furthermore, the actor highlighted a historical perspective, underscoring that the first thing bestowed upon man after creation was a job. He firmly maintained that in a relationship, women should not bear the primary responsibility of providing for their partners, as this duty is inherently that of the man.
