Nollywood actor Denola Grey has sparked controversy by suggesting that crossdresser Bobrisky’s recent jail sentence might not be solely related to the naira abuse charges.
On Friday, Justice Abimbola Awogboro of the Federal High Court in Lagos sentenced Bobrisky to six months in prison without the option of a fine for defacing and spraying Nigerian currency.
However, Denola Grey took to his social media platform (presumably referring to a social media platform with a handle system, like Twitter or Instagram) to express his doubts. In a post, he stated, “We all know this isn’t about spraying [Naira]. They are scapegoating her and using this BS as a reason.”
He further criticized the situation, adding, “I hate bullies. Unfortunately, this country is full of them.“
