No Bra Day is celebrated October 13 of every year. It is a day when women are encouraged not to wear bra in order to promote breast cancer awareness and raise funds for research.
This is because Breast Cancer Survivors wear bra all the time to hold their prosthesis after surgery. No Bra Day is the day, these women survivors can move around freely without the bother of a bra.
Furthermore, October is a Breast Cancer Awareness Month and women are encouraged to get tested for breast Cancer as early detection could prevent the cancer from spreading.
