Two-time champion, Lewis Hamilton is looking to secure back-to-back titles for the first time in his career and currently leads team-mate Nico Rosberg by 53 points.
“I don’t let anybody stand in my way, ever,” Hamilton told the official F1 website when asked if anyone could stop him winning a third championship. “The only person who could get in my way is myself – and I won’t allow that.”
Hamilton has finished off the podium just once this year and his Mercedes car has proved the most reliable of any this season, with only one technical fault for the team, when Rosberg was forced to retire at the Italian Grand Prix with engine failure.
Hamilton’s off-track interests have created a stir, with the 30-year-old confirming an upcoming musical collaboration with music star Drake – and the British driver says he is already thinking about his life after Formula 1.
“Who said that you only should do one thing in life? That you are in one box and that is the only box for you? People tend to put people in that position – you are a Formula One driver only and that there is nothing else left and right.
