A human rights activist, Senator Shehu Sani says the Federal Government should not bother appealing the court judgement that awarded N1 billion in favour of Leader of Indigenous People of Biafra (IPOB), Nnamdi Kanu for the invasion of his home.
Sani, who represented Kaduna Central in the 8th Senate, stated this in a tweet.
Recall that Justice Benson Anya of the Abia State High Court gave the order on Wednesday.
The order was pursuant to a lawsuit filed by Aloy Ejimakor, lawyer to Nnamdi Kanu on August 27, 2021.
The suit sought an order of injunction restraining the Federal Government from taking any further step in prosecuting Kanu in the charge numbered FHC/ABJ/CR/383/2015.
