The Nigerian National Petroleum Corporation (NNPC) says it will consider communities within the Federal Capital Territory in citng Corporate Social Responsibility projects in the nearest future.
This is contained in a statement signed by Alhaji Garba Deen Muhammad, Group General Manager, Group Public Affairs Dividion in Abuja on Tuesday.
ThevGroup Managing Director of the Corporation, Dr Maikanti Baru, gave the assurance when he received a delegation of FCT Council of Chiefs led by its Chairman, Adamu Yinusa.
He noted that as host of the corporate headquarters of the corporation, the FCT deserves prime consideration in the location of CSR projects and initiatives.
On additional product depot in Abaji to ease the gridlock in Suleja depot, Baru explained that the NNPC was open to suggestions and inputs from stakeholders.
He added that the corporation would work within the limit of available resources to execute its mandate.
The monarch thanked Baru for the audience, and promise to work closely with the corporation to ensure smooth host community relationship
