Pro-Biafran agitator, Simon Ekpa has warned that embattled Leader of the Indigenous People of Biafra (IPOB), Nnamdi Kanu may die in the custody of the Department of State Services (DSS).
Kanu has remained in solitary confinement in the detention facility of the DSS since his extraordinary rendition from Kenya in June 2021.
Ekpa, who is a self-proclaimed disciple of the IPOB leader, said Kanu is “very sick” in the custody of the secret police.
The Finland-based separatist said that Kanu’s health is deteriorating and noted that something must be done first to stop him from dying.
He warned that those responsible would be held to account should anything untoward happen to the IPOB leader.
“BRGIE @BiafraRGIE BREAKING, Mazi Nnamdi Kanu is very sick and may die in DSS if nothing is done or not released soon. I wish to inform Biafrans that Onyendu is very sick right now. He is in the worst state ever. If MNK dies in DSS let them know that none of those involved in this crime will be free,” Ekpa wrote on X, formerly known as Twitter, on Saturday.
