The Nigerian Institute of Public Relations (NIPR) has congratulated one of its members and a former Commissioner for Information in Kwara, Alhaji Raheem Adedoyin, over his nomination into the Executive Board of the International Press Institute (IPI) in Vienna, Austria.
Adedoyin, who hails from Ijomu-Oro in the Irepodun local government area of Kwara is to represent Nigeria and, indeed Africa on the Executive Board of the institute.
A statement jointly signed by Dr Saudat Salah-Abdul Baqi and Mr Abdulrahman Sanni, NIPR chairman and secretary, respectively, on Saturday in Ilorin, said the nomination was a well-deserved recognition.

The institute described the nomination of Adedoyin as a recognition of his significant contributions to nation-building and the media industry across the world.
The statement observed that Adedoyin was nominated following his numerous contributions, pedigree and antecedents that made him the cynosure of all eyes across the world.
The institute expressed confidence in the ability of the nominee to put his wealth of experience, wisdom and knowledge to bear on the new global assignment.
The statement, however, advised Adedoyin to remain steadfast, resolute and committed to the ideals of the noble profession, to further sustain its glory.
