The violence rampaging North-western Nigeria continued unabated on Friday night after nine people lost their lives to a fresh attack by rogue Fulani Herdsmen on several southern Kaduna communities
The armed herdsmen coordinated attacks on three communities in Jema’a and Kaura local government areas of Southern Kaduna, killing nine and injuring at least 11 others.

According to a report by Punch, the herdsmen attack which started by 7pm affected at least three communities including, Zikpak, Ungwan Masada and Maraban Kagoro in both local government areas.
The Governor of Kaduna State, Nasir El-Rufai imposed a 24 hour curfew on the affected local government areas after the attack in a bid to return sanity and secuity to the area.
Despite the curfew however, the rogue herdsmen returned to the communities on Saturday morning in large numbers, shot at everything in sight and took over Ungwan Masada and Maraban Kagoro communities within southern Kaduna.
