Nigeria Centre for Disease Control (NCDC) has announced 288 new cases of COVID-19 in the country, bringing the total number of confirmed cases to 5445.
The health agency which made the announcement via its verified Twitter account disclosed Lagos state has the highest number of confirmed cases as 179 persons tested positive to the novel virus in the country’s commercial capital.
