This morning it was reported that Leader of the All Progressives Congress, (APC) criticized the minister of state for petroleum resources, Ibe Kachikwu, for saying he was not a magician and that Nigerians should not expect the scarcity of petrol to abate until May.
The former governor of Lagos, on Saturday said the minister was answerable to Nigerians and not the other way round.
In the statement titled, ‘Kachikwu Needs to Know That Respect and Good Performance Will Do What Magic Cannot,’ Tinubu said he believed a member of the President Muhammadu Buhari-led government “has strayed from the progressive calling required of this administration.”
Following the comments, Nigerians have taken to Twitter to react. If Tinubu thought they’d support him he was sorely mistaken. Many of them said he should call out President Buhari instead of Kachikwu.
Buhari in their opinion not Kachikwu is to blame for the fuel crisis.
See what they had to say.
