Nigerians have taken to the internet to berate Microsoft boss, Bill Gates, for calling President Muhammadu Buhari to congratulate him on his re-election.
Gates had on Wednesday spoken with Buhari on a telephone call, expressing his delight to be associated with the Nigerian President.
Buhari’s Senior Special Assistant (Media and Publicity), Garba Shehu quoted him as saying “I am very happy the way your projects have touched the life of the average Nigerian.”
“The people of this country have given their verdict.”
However, this doesn’t go down well with many Nigerians who trolled Buhari and the All Progressives Congress (APC) on online forum, Nairaland.
