Nigerians on social media have taken to their page to slam a former vice-president of the country under the President Olusegun Obasanjo’s administration for dressing expensive to his farm.
The reaction comes after the former vice president of the country posted a photo of himself on his farm with the caption “Farming season.”
Nigerians who feel offended especially with the misrepresentation of the farm life took to their page to call the past leader out as they pointed out that he was wearing a luxury Rolex timepiece, an expensive shoe and a very nice regalia.
Atiku however in a bid to defend himself took to his page to reply that he has owned a farm for several years ans now has people working for him. He added “Does that make me less of a farmer?”, in reply, a social media user wrote: “real farmers don’t have time to snap pictures or dress in agbada or post on twitter!”
