Nigerians react to Tinubu’s workout video on Twitter

In the midst of questions about his health, All Progressives Congress (APC) presidential candidate Bola Tinubu says he is fit to run for office.

The presidential candidate who posted a workout video on Twitter on Sunday, denied reports that he had dropped out of the race.

“Many have said I have died; others claim I have withdrawn from the presidential campaign,” the APC candidate tweeted on his verified handle.

“Well… Nope. This is the reality: I am strong, I am healthy and I am READY to serve Nigerians from Day One,” he added.

Concerns have been raised about Tinubu’s health, with many Nigerians questioning his fitness for the country’s top job.

He has been absent from recent political gatherings, most notably the signing of a peace accord by presidential candidates ahead of next year’s election.

While the other candidates gathered at the International Conference Centre in Abuja, he sent Kashim Shettima, his running mate, to represent him.

Last Wednesday, the development sparked reactions and catapulted the hashtag #WhereIsTinubu to the top of social media trends.

Reactions to Tinubu’s video

Different reactions have emerged after Tinubu posted a video of himself exercising ‘showing Nigerians that he is alive’.
