Maverick entertainer and convener of Our Mumu Don Do movement, Charles Oputa aka Charly Boy has revealed that Director of Strategic Communications for the Buhari Campaign Organisation, Festus Keyamo SAN facilitated the payment of a huge sum of money for his song bashing PDP presidential candidate, Atiku Abubakar.
In a video now trending on the internet, Charly Boy disclosed that the amount ran into 8-9 figures, with many commentators pegging the sum at N100 million.
The payment is believed to have caused the rift that led to co-convener of Our Mumu Don Do, Deji Adeyanju, pulling out of the movement.
Charly Boy said that Adeyanju, like many other people, wanted to have a share of the money but became disgruntled when he could not do so.
However, Nigerians have taken to social media to bash the conveners of the movement for allegedly deceiving Nigerians.

This #OurMumuDonDo saga is an eye opener. Now Nigerians know for sure that activism is just another hussle. Activists are hungry Nigerians who are louder and bolder than the rest of us. All they also want is food.

Imagine a mumu who realizes that he has been a mumu for a long time then decides his mumu don do and battle the mumurism but only to fall into another mumu situation by the same people orchestrating that he is a mumu and needs to put an end to his mumurism #OurMumuDonDo pic.twitter.com/sYzSH7nCCv

Las Las, activism in Nigeria are quick mean to get part of the national cake. #OurMumuDonDo is a typical example.
How Nigerians take this scammers seriously is another sad.
Some even died in the struggle not knowing the real intentions are selfish.
