Nigerians have taken to social media to react to immediate-past Governor of Ekiti State, Ayodele Fayose visiting the headquarters of the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC) on Tuesday in an “EFCC I’m Here” branded T-shirt.
Fayose was accompanied on the visit by Rivers State Governor, Nyesom Wike, former Aviation Minister, Chief Femi Fani-Kayode, and his lawyer, Chief Mike Ozekhome (SAN).
The controversial governor also held a bag supposedly containing his clothes.
While many commentators hailed the governor’s decision to turn himself in to the anti-graft body, others mocked the branded T-shirt, describing the governor as a drama queen.

At EFCC today with my brother Peter the Rock. He was strong and courageous. I am proud to have stood shoulder to shoulder with this great warrior at this difficult time. pic.twitter.com/7Z8A0FCFsU
