Nigerians reacts as radio personality, television host, vlogger, lifestyle entrepreneur, actress and author, Toke Makinwa, attends United Nations Climate Conference, COP28 with Nigerian President, President Bola Ahmed Tinubu.
Nigerians view the decision of the President to have Toke Makinwa, who is merely a media personality in attendance of the United Nation Climate Conference as a futile and irresponsible decision on the part of the President.
Netizen curious as to what business a vlogger has, attending world leaders conference, what her role and responsibility is in ensuring a clean-energy future in Nigeria, to have flown to Dubai with tax-payers money for a conference she isn’t qualified to be in attendance.
Many took to X(formerly twitter) to express their displeasure towards the decision, they see it as a slap on tax-payers, who work their bone out to make ends meet.
