Controversial Nigerian Artiste, Naira Marley is trending again as he flouted social distancing rules and a ban on non essential inter-state travel occasioned by the COVID-19 pandemic to host a concert in Abuja.
The concert was hosted by ex Big Brother Naija star, Kim Oprah in Saturday night in the Nigerian Capital.
Social media went agog after videos from the concert emerged showing a tightly packed crowd dancing and singing along while Naira Marley performed on stage.
The concert was apparently supposed to be a drive in concert but it turned rowdy pretty quickly as crowd control apparently failed at their job.
People queried the fact that he was also one of the celebrities involved in flouting social distancing rules at the home of Nollywood actress, Funke Akindele some months back.
Many social media users thereafter demanded that Naira Marley be prosecuted.

Several tweets by users also revealed that the concert was organised by Play Network Africa, Traffic Bar, El’Carnival and sponsored by Glenfiddich.
The concert took place at the Silverbird Entertainment Centre while Nairabox and Ariiya sold the tickets.

Several other tweets by Nigerians on social media displayed annoyance at the incident while others blamed government officials Flouting the rules for the behaviour of Naira Marley.
Why should Naira Marley (who seem to like so much walaha) be arrested again when we watched on TV how several government officials who work with the president flout the lockdown rules and nothing happened to them? The Aisha Buhari issue is also about an SA flying around.
