The operators of the Lekki Toll Gate, Lekki Concession Company (LCC), today shocked many Nigerians when it stated that surveillance cameras installed stopped working on the day soldiers allegedly shot #EndSARS protesters at the toll gate.
Managing Director of LCC, Abayomi Omomuwa, made the submission on Tuesday while appearing before the Lagos State Judicial Panel of Inquiry on the Incident.
Omomuwa tendered video footage he said “our surveillance camera was able to record for the 20th of October”, noting that the camera stopped working at 8pm.
Explaining why the camera stopped working, the LCC boss said, “The major cause is because of network.
“I can confirm categorically we never, ever, tampered with the surveillance camera. That is why we can get the footage.
“It remained there until about 8pm when it was tampered with and we couldn’t get anything.”

LCC Boss said the CCTV cameras at the toll gate stopped recording by 8pm. The shooting started by 7pm, they should provide what happened during that 1 hour, or did they lost that one too?

First they said they weren't there. Then they later admitted it was Lagos govt that invited them.
They said they have no CCTV footage. Then later said the CCTV stopped working immediately the shootings began.
If I say that panel is a waste of time, they'd say it is fake news.

Were you people expecting the government to expose themselves or why are you surprised they said there was no recording of whatever happened at the Lekki tollgate?
You keep allowing these people to surprise you.
