Hilarious reactions from Nigerians online have trailed the burning of the Accountant General’s Office at the Treasury House in Abuja earlier today.
The fire started from the third floor of the building and burned all the offices in its path in an upward motion.

The cause of the fire has not yet been ascertained but the office of the Accountant General was among the offices burnt with many sensitive documents.
Before the fire was put out, Nigerians displayed a mix of reactions as the news filtered online.
Many saw the fire as a way for government to justify not rendering account of the monies being used to fight the COVID-19 pandemic in the country.

Most of the reactions so far have exposed the disconnect between the government and most Nigerians.
Most Nigerians believe that the fire was deliberately set to cover up some form of financial misappropriation.
