Nigerians have taken to social media to react to Friday’s announcement by the All Progressives Congress (APC)-led Federal Government that it had appointed billionaire businessmen, Aliko Dangote and Femi Otedola as members of the party’s presidential campaign council.
The presidency made the announcement in a statement signed by the Special Adviser to the President on Media and Publicity, Femi Adesina.
While President Muhammadu Buhari and National Leader of APC, Asiwaju Bola Tinubu are co-chairmen of the council, Vice President Yemi Osinbajo and APC National Chairman, Adams Oshiomhole are co-deputy chairmen.
The statement also named Prof. Yemi Osinbajo, Adams Oshiomhole, Bola Tinubu, Sen. Ahmed Lawan, Femi Gbajabiamila, Aliko Dangote and Femi Otedola as Special Advisory Committee to President Muhammadu Buhari.

Nigerians have however taken to social media to react to the appointment of Dangote and Otedola, who are not known to be politicians.
