A 100-level student of a Nigerian university identified as Zubairu has sent social media into overdrive after he bought his secondary school student girlfriend, Nihat, a Mercedes Benz, an iPhone X Max and an iWatch on her 16th birthday.
According to a video shared by Instablog9ja, the young girl could not believe her eyes after she was presented with the gifts in what seemed like her birthday party.
Some admirers could also be seen cheering on as she got into the vehicle to have a feel of it.
However, commentators on social media have queried how an 100-level student could afford to buy gifts running into several millions of naira for a girl.
