Nigerian singer, Davido, who recently welcomed his second baby has been put on blast by social media users and fans after he seemingly failed to deliver on his promise.
The singer had some weeks ago promised to help a social media user who took to Twitter to solicit for support in raising money for his tuition.
Davido who spotted the social media user as his name sake offered to help but has reportedly failed to hold up to his end of the bargain.
Social media users who could not believe the artiste’s conduct took to their page to call him out on his “30 billion for the account” line in one of his latest singles “IF” noting that with such money he could not help a fan as promised.
Davido in reaction to the call out replied: “Yea I sent a wire yday from my American account which will reach him on Monday it’s an international transfer so you wouldn’t understand” but Nigerians on Twitter aren’t buying the singer’s excuse.
