The conferment of the national honour of the Member of the Order of the Niger (MON) on the popular musician, Teni has excited her friends and fans.
The Herald can report that President Muhammadu Buhari conferred the MON national honour on Teni at the International Conference Centre (ICC), Abuja on Tuesday.
She was one of 447 Nigerians and ‘friends of Nigeria’ bestowed with various national honours at the event.
Many of her friends and fans took to Twitter to celebrate the achievement.
