Nigerian singer Crayon (Charles Chibuezechukwu) has shared his harrowing experience with drug addiction, revealing how it nearly cost him his life and led to hospitalization in a psychiatric home.

In an interview with YouTuber Korty EO, Crayon recounted a disturbing episode outside his record label office, where colleague Rema intervened.

“I was walking on the street barefooted, smashed my iPhone, and couldn’t recognize anyone,” Crayon said. “Rema drove down, carried a stick, and was ready to fight. He told me, ‘Bro, trust me, once you pass this stage, you’ll come out great.'”
