A motion was passed by Senator Samuel Anyanwu on the looming crisis in the Nigerian Aviation Industry noting that the Aviation Industry has been gasping for survival in recent years and is worsened by the Economic recession.
He noted that the aviation section is strategic to the economy, regretting that these challenges is affecting foreign investment and tourism. The Senate President, Bukola Saraki commended the sponsor and asked him to further examine and inform the Senate on the next step to take.

According to the Nigerian Senate handle on twitter @NGRSenate, the consideration of the bill for concurrence is being stood down for more in-depth review at the committee level before further consideration.
