Another Nigerian celebrity bites the dust this 2018.
Ukeleke Onwubya better known by his stage name Ras Kimono has kicked the bucket after what was described as a brief illness.
The singer who was well known for hits such as ‘Under Pressure’ died at Lagoon Hospital in Ikoyi.
His death was confirmed by members of the Copyright Society of Nigeria (COSON) and also fellow legend Sir Shina Peters.
Kimono came into prominence in the late 80s and early 90s along with his band, Massive Dread Reggae Band.
The singer was also known to be someone who took clean living serious, claiming that he did not indulge in some of the other vices his colleagues were into, like drinking and smoking.
