Omotola Akinsanya, the Nigerian lady hit by a reckless Lebanese man driving against traffic in Lagos on May 4, has died.
Her brother released an obituary for the deceased which showed that she died on June 9.
Recall that the Police Public Relations Officer (PPRO) in Lagos, Benjamin Hundeyin had said that Greg drove a Toyota 4Runner sport utility vehicle with which he rammed into the victim while he was driving against traffic on Sanusi Fafunwa Steet, Victoria Island.
He added that Akinsanya sustained serious injuries to her leg as a result.
Hundeyin said that Greg initially ran off with the vehicle but was chased and brought back to the scene of the incident.
The victim was rushed to the Lagos State University Teaching Hospital (LASUTH) where she had been undergoing treatment for the injuries she sustained.
In a social media post over the weekend, her brother announced that she died.
